This search finds all of the pages which include the exact phrase you give, or at least one of the words you have entered, depending on your choice.
You can use an asterisk * as a wild card: for example M*Donald finds both McDonald and Macdonald. You should also use wild card * instead of an apostrophe, e.g. Henry*s Well to search for Henry’s Well, and on either side of abbreviations, e.g. *Wm* Dodd, *Geo* Armstrong or *TP* (= Turnpike).
