				The farm consists chiefly of good
				Arable land. There is a considerable
				hamlet adjoining, part of which
				belongs to this farm.
				Mr Thos Laidlaw is the occupier

Fenton Demesne	Fenton Demesne	Estate Map	On Sheet	Another good farm Steading with
		Mr Jas Laidlaw	14.12	offices on the above estate belonging
		Mr Thos Laidlaw		to the same proprietor. The farm servants
				of which occupy part of the hamlet as
				above. There is an annual Fair for
				Horses, Sheep & cattle held on this farm
				and called "St. Ninion's Fair"

Tower Close	Tower Close	Estate Map	On Sheet	A small field or Close of arable
		Mr James Laidlaw	14.12	land on the farm of Fenton Demesne
		Mr Thos Laidlaw		on which according to tradition a
				Tower or Keep formerly Stood B[ut]
				of which not a vestiage now remains
				Mr Jas Laidlaw Farmer Can remember seeing
				Some remains of Old foundations turned
				up when ploughing about 30 years
				ago, however, the name is all that
				remains to attest the Tower having
				ever existed, except as a tradition.
