| off about 18, or 20. years ago for the purpose of building the walls of a | ||||||
| Plantation in its own immediate neighbourhood. The removal of the stones | ||||||
| brought to light three large rough undressed stones, laid upon the ground | ||||||
| in form of grave stones. When these were removed, there appeared three cavities | ||||||
| in form of graves, the largest about 3 feet long, 1 foot broad, & 2 feet in depth. | ||||||
| Each of these graves contained a quantity of human bones. It is supposed | ||||||
| that this Cairn was erected by the Danes. | ||||||
