Mr Thos Laidlaw which there are remains of an old
burial ground or grave yard. Tradition
Says that a Kirk formerly existed here
but nothing except the above, remains
now to attest it.
Nesbit Nesbitt Estate Map A farm & township 3/4 of a mile East
Mr Jas Laidlaw of Fenton Town & Fenton Demesne. It
Mr Wm Lumsdon is part of the same estate, and has
Nesbit Parish Name list lately passed into the possession of the Earl
Page 11 of Durham. The farm house & office
are old & rather dilapidated.
