Monastery, the remainder modern
the whole is surmounted by
a glass turret within which is
a large stationary white light
inside all is beautifully clean
it is attended to by the two Keepers
who relieve each other at stated
intervals they have clean nice
dwellings with gardens potatoe
garths pasturage for Cattle &c &c
Buoy House Buoy House Mr. Matthews On Coquet Island A small building where the Buoys
Buoy House Mr. Darling for marking the Channel into Warkworth
Buoy House Mr. Thomson Whitehead Harbour are kept in addition to the
two Lighthouse keepers there is a
Buoy house keeper whose duty it is
to keep the Buoys moored to their
proper places & place new ones where
wanted
