Wark Wark Whites Directory West Bank of the A small Village beautifully situated on the west

are Chapels for the Presbyterians & Methodists. The

have been a place where criminals were confined after
their trial at the adjacent Manorial court held on the
Moot Hill they would be lowered into it thro a hatchway
this place must have been of great extent as its stones nearly
built the whole of the houses on east side of The Green.
