Parish, by referring to the
different Plans it will be
seen where it was necessary
to strengthen it by a Fosse;
in one instance at Busy Gap
it has been further strengthened
by a triangular entrenchment,
please refer to "Bruces Roman
Wall" for any information
respecting this additional
strength; all natural defences
such as Crags, Steep slopes &c
have likewise been shewn.
and two names on the line of the
Wall although not in
"Sewingshields Crags" and
"Cat Gate" altho not in this
Parish are now described
in the Nbook of Sheet 84/5
& written on the traces of that
Plan.
