Cypress Linn Cypress Linn Mr. T. White 29 Chains S.W. of A narrow portion of the River Allen very deep.
Cypress Linn Mr. Dickinson (Farmer H. Staward) Harsondale and confined within ledges of Rock on either
Cypress Linn Mr. Geo. Smith No Waterfall side of the River. the word "Linn"means either a
Cypress Linn Plan of Whitfield Manor. Waterfall or deep pool it means the latter in this case.
A ledge of perpendicular rocks
over which falls the River Allen,
I have inquired of the best in-
-formed of the inhabitants
and was unable to ascertain
the derivation of this name.
