the property of Chas Wm Orde Esq.
It is traditionally supposed that
there was a Gate here at the entrance of
Town in former times, from which a
gallows was suspended – hence the name.
Old Walls Norham Mill Revd W C King, Vicar On Sheet This name applies to a ruin
(in ruins) Mr Alexr Davison 6.5 formerly a Corn Mill, situate
Norham Mill Mr Mark Young at South-east end of Norham
(in ruins) Village, and the property of
Thos Hodgson Esq.
This place is not of sufficient importance
