Mr William Embleton the old "Peel". It is commonly called
"Pill Knowe" but is supposed to
be a corruption of "Pele Knowe" as
the old Pele stood contiguous.
Longridge Bog Longridge Bog Mr James Nicholson On sheet A small tract of boggy, low lying
Mr William Makins 6.3 land, on the north of, and adjoining to
Mr William Embleton "Thornton Bog", and along the west
side of "Murton Craggy Bog".
