Mr George White, Farmer Inn and grocer’s shop, together with a few
other cottages, chiefly occupied by Labour-
ers and Colliers. The property of Thos
Frier Esqr. of Grindon Ridge.
Duddo Tower Duddo Tower Revd W. C. King, Vicar On Sheet This name applies to the remains of
(Remains of) (Remains of) Mr Ebenezer Black 10.2 an ancient tower, two storeyies high
Duddo Tower Mr George White, Duddo The whole being now demolished excepting
(Remains of) a portion of the South wall which is
of great thickness. It is situated on the
summit of a rocky eminence on the
south side of Duddo, overlooking the
village.
