Lowick Edwd Henderson, Lowick houses, many of which are thatched,
and present an humble appearance, –
occupying a central position in the
parish, about nine and a half miles
south of Berwick, and eight from
Belford. The principal buildings are
the Church, Vicarage, Lowick House & Villa,
Post Office, and three dissenting places of
worship, together with the National and
Roman Catholic, Schools. There are five
licensed public houses, and several
grocery, and other shops; the property
of various individuals.
