Wm Rodgerson 19. 6 there was formerly a cairn of stones here
Estate Map. to mark the junction – the name still
applies – tho’ the cairn no longer exists –
having been used to build the walls with.
Tom Tallon’s Grave Tom Tallon’s Grave James Duncan on Sheet There was formerly a large Cairn of stones
(Site of) (Site of) Wm Rodgerson 19. 6 here so called, but it was removed to
Estate Map. build the boundary wall with.
Not a stone is left to mark the spot.
It is said that Tom Tallon was some
Warrior, & buried here – but the local
tradition is so faint that nothing
authentic can be gleaned respecting
him – except the name.
