park, the body of the building
was removed by the present
proprietor Mr Anderson, the
servants hall which appears
on trace is all that remains. it
is a plain stone building and is
occupied as a Farm house. I
could not find any historical
record of this building, Hodgson
passes it unnoticed. An Epitaph
on a monumental stone near the
Church records the murder of a
Loraine by a party of Scots on
his return from Church in 1485. The hall
which was the residence of the Loraines, dates before this period
