to it. There is no tradition about it.
Cochrane Pike Cochrane Pike Mr. H. G. Crisp, Prendwick. On Sheet This name applies to a considerable
Cochrane Pike Mr. Robt Donkin, Ingram. 30. 9 hill situated on the farm of
Cochrane Pike Mr. Geo. Gibson, Ingrammill. Ingram, having the remains of
a Camp near its summit, facing
the South. It is supposed to have
derived the name from a "beacon"
or "Pike", having been erected on it
in former times, if so, no trace of
it now remains visible.
