Camp Camp (Remains of) Revd. Jas Allgood, Rector, On Sheet A circular encampment, supposed
(Remains of) Ingram. 30. 5 to be of British origin, consisting chiefly
Camp (Remains of) Ralph Carr Esqr., Hedgley. of stones, with an opening to the East which
Camp (Remains of) Mr. Robt Donkin, Ingram formed the entrance; the remains being
still pretty entire. The interior contains
a quantity of scattered stones, apparently
the remains of buildings. A short
distance north-east of this Camp, are the
remains of a number of old walls, and
small circles, supposed to have been
used by the Ancient Britons, in Connexion
with the Camp. Situated on Hartside Hill.
Hartside Hill Hartside Hill Mr. Robt Donkin, Ingram. On Sheet A hill of Considerable altitude, yielding
Hartside Hill Mr. Richd Rutherford, Greensidehill 29. 8 & rough pasture, and having the
Hartside Hill Revd. Jas Allgood, Rector, Ingram 30. 5 remains of a Circular encampment upon
its summit. Situated on the farm of
Hartside.
