Snear Hill The Snear Hill George Hughes Esqr. On Sheet This is the termination of a spur or
Mr. Mark Tully 19. 16 offset from the Cheviot Hill. It forms
Estate Map. a long low ridge and terminates in
a sort of peninsula at the junction
of Hartup Harthope & Carey Burns. The derivation
of the name is unknown.
Hartup Burn George Hughes Esqr. A wild mountain stream, extending
Mr Mark Tully from Langleeford farm house, to its junction
Estate Map. with Carey Burn & Coldgate Water.
