Folly Bridge Mr William Makins 6.12 across a small rivulet, which divides
Folly Bridge Mr Richard Makins, Murton the parishes of Norham and Holy Island
(Detached), and on the Turnpike road
a short distance south of "The Folly"
from which, it gets the name –
West Allerdean West Allerdean Mr James Watson, Unthank on Sheet Two rows of houses, one story high
Mr William Makins 6.12 and tiled, a few detached cottages,
Mr Richard Makins, Murton a smithy, saw mill, and joiners
workshop, the houses, are occupied by
Colliers. And in the smithy &c.&c.
the machinery &c is repaired, belonging
to "Shoreswood Colliery". And all the
property of the Colliery company –
