Whellan’s Directory occupied by a man named
Richardson. It is now a small
Village comprising the above,
a grocer’s shop. Post Office –
church, Parsonage, National
School, Smithy, and a few
cottages – the outbuildings
of the original "Richardson’s
Stead", are all converted into
dwellings, and many more
added – they all have small
gardens attached. It is the
property of Greenwich
Hospital –
