Heeds Head Mr Edward Pringle -ston Incline" joins the "N.E. Railway"
Heeds Head Admiralty Chart the west end, is bold, and rocky, and
is a well known point to fishermen
and mariners, entering the Harbour
of "Berwick"
Pier Quarry Pier Quarry Mr James Dixon, Fisherman on Sheet Remains of an old Quarry on
Mr JamesWood, Pilot 4.14 the sea shore, at the east end of
Mr Edward Pringle "Heeds Head"; the stones for the
erection of the Pier at Berwick
Harbour, were taken from here,
hence the name –

Mr Edward Pringle stream flowing through it.
it is situated a short distance
southeast of "Pier Quarry". And was
formerly much frequented by
smugglers –
