Tweedmouth Cemetery Mr J. Gilroy, Sunnyside not very extensive, but is neatly
and conveniently laid out.
It is in two divisions: the eastern
position, being set apart for members
of the Church of England, and
is consecrated, the western portion
is for dissenters, this part is not
consecrated; there are two, very
neat but small buildings, one
(in each division) erected in
tne early English style, where
the funeral services are performed
and a neat Lodge to correspond,
situated between the two gates,
and which is occupied by the
Registrar, who is also Gatekeeper
&c. It is the property of the
chapelry of Tweedmouth, and
the Managment is vested
in trustees appointed by
the Parishioners –
