Alexr Lowrey Esq 4.13 attached, it is situated on the
Turnpike road, leading from
from Tweedmouth to Belford &c
and about 1/4 of a mile from the
former. This property has been in
possession of a family named
"Bonner" for five or six generations
and is still in the possession of
one of the same family who
resides in Berwick hence
the name
Tweedmouth Grove Tweedmouth Mr George Dick on Sheet A small hamlet, on the
Grove Mr John Gilroy 4.13 Turnpike road leading from
Alexr Lowrey Esq "Berwick" to Etal &c and about
Mr J. Cairns-Tweedmouth a mile and 1/4 from the former
there are in it a few good
houses – a public house and
a few cottages. It is said that
when this was an open Common
there was here a small wood or
copse, called Tweedmouth Grove –
