St Cuthbert’s Isle St Cuthbert’s Mr Stamp, Schoolmaster on sheet A semi isle it being connected at low
Isle Mr Wilson, Harbourmaster 12.6 by sand and boulders with Holy
or Mr Grey, Holy Island Island a short distance west of the Heugh
Hob’s Thrush and said to have been dwelt upon by
St Cuthbert. Excepting the foundation
of some small building which is only
barely visible; there is nothing but rocks
and pasture to be seen upon it, and it
is better known by pilots and fishermen
to whom it forms a sea mark, by
the name of "Hob’s Thrush".
