Fenwick Fenwick Estate map on sheet A small straggling village
Fenwick H.K.Gregson Esq 11.12 situated a short distance of from the
Fenwick Mr Thomas Main present turnpike road leading from
Fenwick Mr Mark Chisholm, Fenwick Stead Belford to Berwick &c and
about 5 miles from the former –
the houses, with one exception
are one storey high, and occupied
by farm laborers, there are a
smithy, joiners’ workshop, a
Grocer’s & Draper’s shop and
small steam saw mill
It is the property of
Captn Leyland.
Fenwick Burn Fenwick Burn Estate map on sheets A small rivulet, having
Fenwick Burn H.K.Gregson Esq 11.8 its source partly in the Kyloe
Fenwick Burn Mr Thomas Main 11.11 & Hills and partly from smaller
Fenwick Burn Mr Mark Chisholm 11.12 tributaries. It flows north of East
Kyloe, in an easterly direction, south
which it takes a northerly Fenwick, where it takes the name
direction, on the east side of of Fenwick Burn, a short distance from
Fenwick, and empties itself into
Dean Burn at Fenwick Granary.
