attached; there was at one time Polant
Flooring manufactured here, but that brand
has been discontinued, It is the property
of Robt Johnstone & Co.
School School Mr John Burn On Sheet A Small, neat schoolroom, in the
Mr A Horne 3.16 Village of East Ord, having Teachers
Mr George Dick residence, with garden attached –
It was built by subscription, and the
ground was granted by the different propri
-etors off the Common land in in the
Village, there is now no endowment, or provision
of any kind granted to it, the teacher
not having anything but what he obtains
the scholars attending
It is a mixed school, and the
branches taught are Reading Writing
and Arithmetic
