(Per. Curacy) Holy Island, by Pope Eugenious
III. The edifice was enlarged –
and thoroughly repaired in
1836 by which means 170
additional sittings were
obtained, it is now seated
for 300 – 181 of which are
free, and are declared un
-appropriated for ever –
The living is a perpetual curacy
in the Archdeaconry of Lindis-
-farne, and deanery of Norham
Revd Wm Hewitt, Incumbent
