"On the brow of the hill are some in
-teresting medieval remains remains of
Ó¿ in this Chapel from the years A.D. 1369 to 1372. Funds for this purpose two Chapels. One chapel was dedicated
were obtained chiefly from contributions by the pious and collections to St. Mary, and it is now so completely
made by the monks. "Let their names", exclaim the grateful monks, as a ruin, that all architectural features
they record the benefactions, "be for ever written in the Book of Life!" are lost; but of the original structure
Fifty years ago, this chapel was inhabited by the person who of the other, enough is left to show
attended to the light on the tower; subsequently it became roof its character and determine its age.
