Mid Fell Mr. Davidson East of Deadwater and well known by this name. This
Mid Fell Mr. Robson Fell. hill appears to have derived its name
i.e. Mid means from the fact of it being about equidistant
Middle from Pearl Fell and Deadwater Fell.
The Summit of the hill is marked with a
large pile of loose Stones which local tradition
gives as having been a burying place in
former times.
