Plantation Owner 27.11 a slight eminence, in
Mustardhill Plantn Mr. Edward Wightman one of the fields adjoining
Mustardhill Plantn Mr. Thomas Wood, Farmer is called "Mustard Hill"
Craster Westfarm hence the name, It is the
property of T.W. Craster Esqr.
Proctor’s Stead Proctor’s Stead Same Authorities On Sheet An old house, situated
Proctorstead – White’s Directory 27.11 a short distance north of
"Dunstan", It was erected
against an ancient Tower
(which is still standing) by
a J. Proctor in 1652 It is
the property of the Earl of
Tankerville, There are offices
and, large garden attached.

See Spotswood’s Histy Church of Scotland although, it is supposed to be as old, as
quoted in Hutchinson’s View of Northum- "Dunstanborough Castle", tradition, gives this
-berland. Vo.:II. P.186. where it is shown { Duns Scotus } as the birth-place of the Celebrated, Duns
he was born at Dunse in { Died 8th Nov.} Scotus, and that he translated the
Berwickshire – { A.D. 1308 } Scriptures here, there is no date on it,
it is three stories high, and now used as a +
