to this School as stated in the endowment Deed Namely
Twelve poor Children within a limited distance to receive
instructions from the resident Curate without any charge
who are appointed by the Rector of Elsdon when a vacancy occurs
The endowment is dated 1800 and consists of Money invested
in the Funds and landed property to the amount of £1750
for both church and School. The proceeds of which forms the
clergymans Salary who is bound also to teach the School
