Padon Hill Mr Hall of South Padon Elsdon. The Summit of this Hill is
Arkles Parish Plan Marked with a large Cairn of Stones
Similar in appearance to those opened
in other parts of the Parish and found
to Contain human bones &c.
This Hill derives its name
from the ancient Preacher and Prophet,
Padon.
South Padon South Padon Mr Redshaw 30 chains South A Considerable Hill extending
South Padon Mr Mebourn of Padon Hill North West & South East, over which
South Padon Mr Hall the boundary of Bellingham & Elsdon
parishes passes.
