The most north west one of these objects | ||||||
consists of a circular stone structure about 4 feet above the ground. This was opened | ||||||
and an urn, some ashes & coins found in the interior. On the second course of stones from | ||||||
the ground & on the west side the head of an animal is cut in the face of a stone and | ||||||
on the east side at the same height from the ground there is a figure like a diamond | ||||||
cut upon the face of another stone, both very indistinct. Immediately on the south east side of | ||||||
the circular |
||||||
marked with blocks of well dressed stones, regularly laid together as if commencing the | ||||||
foundation of a permanent building. At about 38 yards still further to the south east | ||||||
lies the fourth grave or tomb. This object is of the same description as the two above | ||||||
described. None of the square figures have been opened consequently no description | ||||||
can be given of the interior. | ||||||
