Earsdon Earsdon MacKenzie’s History In the N.E. of this A considerable Village pleasantly Situated on
Earsdon Whellan’s Directory Plan a rocky eminence and contains the parish Church
Earsdon Revd R.E Mason & Parsonage Post Office Three Public houses and a few
Earsdon very neat dwelling houses There formerly was
Earsdon White’s Directory Township Quarry in this Village but it is now wrought
Earsdon A small County Map out and is claimed by the Lord of the Manor as
Earsdon County Register of the Electors for 1858 waste ground There is also a very neat School
erected by Messrs Taylor and others it has been
under the National Education until very recently
it is now a private Township School Supported by
the Scholars in attendance Mr Taylor voluntarily
subscribes £14 per annum towards a house for the
Master
