Estate Map 14.16 an old burial ground, which was
a Chapelry of Lindisfarne, (according
to Sir Horace St Paul,) in the 13th
Century, of which the vestiage
now remains but the small en-
closure, as an old burial ground-
In the field east of and adjoining
the above (marked B.) "Have been
found at different periods Flints
such as were buried with and have
been found in graves of the ancient
Britons. Also the part of a
British Urn, which would seem to
indicate that this has been at some
remote period a burial place of
that people"-Such is the opinion
of Sir Horace St Paul, Baronet –
