County Map 14.16 with the College Burn 1/4 mile W.
of Kirknewton thence it runs
nearly east thro’ Lanton, Copeland
& Ewart estates till it is lost
in the larger river Till which it
joins about 1/2 mile E. of Ewart
Park – its whole course does not
exceed 4 1/2 miles -it abounds
with fine Trout
