C. Rea Esqr a drain, the well having been covered
up, it is thence led into a Mill pond
at Doddington, the spring is constant
and discharges about 24 Gallons per
minute –

Mr Cairns 15.9 bearing curious circular incisions and
C. Rea Esqr round holes. It, with others in the neighbor
hood have attracted much attention
from Antiquarians, and are Supposed
to be of Druidical origin, no local
tradition respecting them existing
