the road, the Wall can be dis-
tinctly traced, it invariably is
a few inches higher than the
remainder of the turnpike, it is
composed of large blocks of yellow
coloured stone; in very wet or dry weather
it is as plain to be seen and retains
its original straightness as if it was
never subjected to the rough usage atten-
ding the formation of a Turnpike in those
places. It is shown with a double
