Bywell John Hodgson Ezerley Well. situation on the north side of the Tyne.
Bywell William Ward taken its name from a well situate
Bywell White’s Directory at or near this place. This well appears
to have been removed when Bywell
Bridge was erected across the River Tyne
as the stones had been quarried from
where the well was situate.
Bywell Mill Bywell Mill Mr Kay 4 chains S. W. of This is an old corn mill
(Corn) (Corn) Bywell Castle. and has been erected for
Bywell Mill John Hodgson the last 200 years.
