Union Workhouse Mr. Allen St Cuthberts Church several Parishes. The present Work House was erected
Union Workhouse Name cut on stone in front in 1839. It is a substantial stone edifice including
Governor and Matrons residence possessing accomodation
for about sixty persons though the number of inmates
at present only amounts to 19 Mr. and Mrs Ansley
