Ross Low Ross Low Mr. R.G. Bolam On sheets A considerable stream, being the
Ross Low Mr. R.P. Nesbet 16.2 continuation of "Elwick Burn", and
Ross Low Mr. James Robertson 16.3 & bearing the name from where "Belford
16.4 Burn" unites with it, to its confluence
with Budle Bay. The tide flows to about
the point where Belford, and Elwick Burns,
unite.
South Field Mr. R.G. Bolam A portion of arable land, situated on
South Field Mr. Wm. Hardie, Ross the farm of Ross, and bounded upon the
South Field Estate Plan north by "Ross Low".

Royalways Royalways Mr. R.G. Bolam On Sheet 12.13&14 This name applies to four arable
Royalways Mr. R.P. Nesbet fields, situated on the farm of Elwick,
Royalways Estate Plan supposed to have derived the name from a
Road having formerly passed through, or in the vicinity
of them, which led between Bamburgh and Berwick-
on-Tweed, no trace of which now remains to be seen.
