Granary, in which Corn &c used to
be stored, &c from whence it was
shipped to other parts, there is
here a small Pier and Quay,
where vessels sometimes put in
with Coal, and for farm produce.
The Original "Heatherhouse", has
long since been removed, It was
a Public-house, and having the
Roof Covered With heather, hence
the name, the dwellings now here
are Occupied by the Coast Guards.
It is the property of Lord Grey.
