through to "Switcher Dean".
It bears this name from "Slate
Ford", to the Southeast Corner
of "Commonflat Plantation"
where it takes the name of
"Priestsdean Burn"
Priestdean Bridge Priestdean Bridge Mr. J. C. Dennis On Sheet A small stone, bridge, of one
Priestdean Bridge Mr. Robt Thompson 21.11 arch, across Priestdean Burn
Priestdean Bridge Mr. James Chirnside and on the Trust Road,
leading from Belford, to
Alnwick. It is said that
a Priest was killed here.
Somewhere, near to this bridge
hence the name.

Slate Ford Mr. Robt Thompson 21.15 at the west end, of Switch
Slate Ford Mr. James Chirnside -er dean Burn. There was
a ford here before this con
duit, was erected.
