Allendale Town Newcastle Journal of Decr. 20th 1856 fridays for the sale of meat eggs
poultry &c. which is well attended
by the inhabitants of the surrounding
districts. There is also a savings
bank here

Peth Head John Errington prospect hill summit of a steep bank in the
Peth Head William Brown Town of Allendale known by that
name
Oakeydean Well Oakeydean Well John Errington 32 Chains N.E. W of This well has been awarded
Oakleydean Well William Brown Bunkers hill at the division of the common
