Hartburn Parish Sheet 62. Plan 16

There is one loose paper following sheet 97. Here it is

5th Sept.1868
Wallington
Newcastle on Tyne
My Dear Sir Henry
I find in the map
of the Parish of Hartburn
Northumberland a slight mistake
which you perhaps would like to
correct when the work is revised,
which I presume the changes which
are constantly in progress; render
necessary at certain intervals;
in Sheet LXII. Lat. 55 10′ 40" –
Long. 1 53’30" occurs "Ghost Hill"
altered I suppose by some romantic
surveyor from "Goose Hill" which
is the proper name
Extract from
W. C Trevelyan’s letter
