Bede’s Ecclesiastical Histy page 97. out as the Palace of "Edwin & Ethelberga",
King & Queen of Northumbria in 627. the
house has been repaired and is still occupied
the walls are over 6 feet in thickness.
According to Bede in the above year, "So
great was the fervor of the faith as is reported,
and the desire of the washing of Salvation among the
King Edwin’s Palace King Edwin’s Palace adopted in the Place. On Sheet Nation of the Northumbrians, that Paulinus (Roman

Queen, Edwin & Ethelberga to the royal Country Seat
