Stawhouse Staw House Mr. J. McGregor On Sheet A Shepherds house on the farm of
Mr. J. Ross 18. 4 Westnewton, a little N.E. of Stawhill
Mr. W. Scott from which it takes name.
Stawhouse Annotated ‘Should be compounded.’
Camp (remains of) Mr. J. McGregor A small well defined camp on the
Mr. J. Ross N.E. brow of Staw hill, in which are visible
Mr. W. Scott several small circles, supposed to be the remains
of Huts or ancient residencies.
It is considered doubtful as to these
enclosures having been Camps. the name
is therefore omitted.
Camp (remains of) Mr. J. McGregor A rather large Camp, but faintly de-
Mr. J. Tait fined, a little N.E. of Haddon Hill, &
Mr. W. Scott S.E. of which are several small remains
supposed to have been camps & residencies.
The same remark as the above.
