Camp Hill Mr Hall Regester which are the remains of an ancient
Camp hill Hodgson’s History of Northumberland British encampment
Camp Camp } Mr Robson 20 Chains S.S.W. The remains of an ancient British
(Remains of) Camp } Mr Green of Catcherside encampment nearly all tracings of
Camp } Remains of Mr Hall which hasve been removed by plowing
Hodgson’s History of Northumberland and ridding it of stones except on the north west
side where the remains of a ditch and three ramparts of earth
are strongly marked. This is owing to a stone wall having
been built on that portion of the outer and largest rampart
which is outside the ditch. It forms the sumet of the
eminence known as Camp Hill
