Burnfoot Mr George Dick, Rate Collector a mile west of the farmhouse,
Tweedmouth they are now unoccupied, and nearly
in ruin, they get this name from
being situated near to where a small
stream empties itself into the
Tweed
Southbells Southbells Shiel Mr John Burn Middle Ord on Sheet This is a Shiel on the South Side
Shiel Mr John Robison Ord Mains 3.11 of the river "Tweed", and about
Mr George Dick, Rate Collector midway between "Burnfoot", and
Tweedmouth "West Ord". It was erected for the
accommodation of the Bailiffs
while watching the river,
and the fishermen, during the
fishing season. It is in good repair
West Ord West Ord Mr John Burn Middle Ord on Sheet A neat, and substantial dwelling, pleasant
Mr John Robison Ord Mains 3.11 -ly situated on the south bank of the Tweed,
Mr George Dick, Rate Collector the outbuildings are extensive, but very
Tweedmouth irregularly built, the hinds’ houses, are
neat, and having small gardens attached
